Aesthetics have become a major consideration when installing a music or home theater system. Typically ceiling speakers are round and in-wall speakers are rectangular. However, there are certain architectural applications where a square speaker would be more appropriate for the ceiling. To accommodate these occasions, SpeakerCraft has taken their award wining Custom Round Series speakers and modified them with a square baffle and grille design. This means you still benefit from all of the technology in the CRS series including the pivoting tweeter to direct critical high frequencies and their patented WavePlane® to increase dispersion and overall sound quality. The footprint is simply square instead of round. Now mounting the speaker in soffits, in bathrooms near exhaust fans or in drop ceiling tiles, will be even more attractive.
