If you want the playback flexibility of a carousel changer, the playback quality of a Marantz single-disc player, and all the features that make a unit extraordinarily easy to integrate into a custom-installed system, look no further. The CC4001 answers all your needs.
From its aluminum front panel back, the CC4001 makes a new
statement about the desirability of owning a carousel disc changer.
As with most other changers, this Marantz unit holds five discs. Unlike most
others, the circuitry features SA-CD grade Cirrus Logic 4392 digital-to-analog
converters for the finest sound quality you’ve ever experienced from a
multi-disc unit.
The CC4001 handles CDs, their recordable CD-R and CD-RW cousins, and MP3-encooded
discs, too. You can select the disc you want from the front panel in addition
to choosing it remotely.
Custom-installation conveniences include a bi-directional RS232C connector,
a detachable AC cord, and an infrared flasher input. Hidden inside is a set
of five IR code sets for multiple-user convenience.
The sound quality? Well, we’ve already mentioned the critical D/A converters.
So we’ll just ask you this question – would we use those parts if
the rest of the circuitry didn’t demand that level of performance? Of
course not. But, then, the CC4001 is a Marantz after all.
